On Mountain Dining

The way we see it, a good day on the mountain requires tasty food. Our on-mountain restaurants feature delicious variety, energy-boosting food, and a mix of non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, and sprits.

Popular brands and regional favorites selected by our culinarians refresh and refuel our guests as they enjoy their day on the mountain. We invite you to savor hearty sandwiches, chili, & soups, nutritious salads & grain bowls, Sicilian pizza, waffles, burgers & pub fare, kid friendly options, and so much more.

To make the on mountain dining experience enjoyable for all, please follow these guidelines for the 2023/24 Ski Season:

• Thank you for making room for others. Please be mindful of the time and free up tables and chairs for those who have purchased food and beverages, once you have finished eating or drinking.
• Insider tip: For a quieter lunch experience during busy weekends and holidays, avoid the busier lunch hour of approximately 12:00pm-1:30pm . Off-peak hours before 11:30am or after 1:30pm will be quieter.
• Individuals who are bringing their own food, please dine in the Ausable Room or use our outdoor spaces.
• Sorry, food preparation and heating of food are not permitted.
• No storing food at tables, locker rooms, or other public spaces. If you are bringing your own food, it should fit into a personal pack and not on, under or around the table in the lodge. Personal items can be stored in lockers or free storage racks in each of the lodges. Please, no large backpacks or coolers.

4610' Cafe

Location: Inside the Castle on the Veterans’ Memorial Highway | Daily 10:30AM – 4:00PM

The highest restaurant in New York, the 4610′ Cafe is open during the summer season, offers all your favorites in the spectacular scenery. While you’re there grab souvenirs from the Castle Gift Shop that will provide lasting memories of your Adirondack vacation.

Maple Smoke BBQ Food Truck

Location: In front of the Cloudsplitter Gondola  | Daily 10:30AM – 5:00PM

Grab on-the-go with the Maple Smoke BBQ Food Truck. Offering burgers, sandwiches, snacks and more this food truck has a little something for everyone.

Legends - Winter Only

Closed for the season | Location: Base Lodge Second Floor

Located on the main level of the Main Base Lodge. Warm up with our New Menu of breakfast and lunch options including our Hearty French Onion Soup, Grilled Sandwiches, and crowd favorite, the Adirondack Salad. Main Stay artisan sandwiches will be available daily, and our Chef will be rolling out weekly gourmet specials. Top off your visit to Legends with a tasty cold brew or one of Whiteface’s signatures drinks.

Base Camp Market - Winter Only

Closed for the season | Location: Base Lodge Second Floor

Visit the Base Camp Market, located on the 2nd floor of the Main Base Lodge, for gourmet soups and Whiteface chili, Al Forno Sicilian Pizza, specialty sandwiches and wraps, salads, charbroiled all beef burgers, chicken tenders and fries. For something on the go, the Simply to Go options serve fresh salads, deli sandwiches, snacks and more. Make sure to check out the Base Camp Market’s hearty and delicious breakfast sandwiches!

Al Forno Sicilian Pizza - Winter Only

Closed for the season | Location: Base Lodge Second Floor

Located in the Base Camp Market Al Forno will be offering whole pies or by the slice, Stromboli, calzone, and cannoli, stop by often and check out the specials. Al Forno works with the local farms for a farm to table pizza. Watch out for this handmade Sicilian style offerings on the mountain you will savor.

Cloudspin Bar & Grill presented by Saratoga Eagle - Winter

Closed for the season | Location: Base Lodge Third Floor

The Cloudspin Bar & Grill presented by Saratoga Eagle is located on the third level of the Main Base Lodge, and features après ski fare along with a selection of local cold brews and beverages. Visit the Cloudspin for an impressive pub-style experience featuring our “Maple Smoke BBQ Co.” menu of award-winning wings with a variety of house-made sauces, dry-rubbed brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken and sausages all smoked on-site slope side with local maple wood! Cloudspin also features grilled burgers, nachos, a variety of soups and salads as well as options for the kiddos.

Located in the heart of the new Bear Den Lodge, the Black Bear Café is your convenient, casual, and kid-friendly stop for grilled sandwiches, New York style pizza, hot dogs, falafel, chicken tenders and fries, gourmet soups, and our new huge Bavarian pretzel. Be sure to check out our selection of made fresh “Simply to Go” options of salads, wraps and sandwiches, local snacks, or “chill-out” with a variety of novelty ice creams!

Growler's Grill presented by Fat Tire - Winter Only

Closed for the season | Location: Bear Den Lodge

Check out our family-friendly restaurant located in our recently expanded Bear Den Lodge. Growler’s Grill presented by Fat Tire features a Tex-Mex menu with offering shareable plates, Burrito bowls and chimichurri wings. Chef crafted soups and specialty salads, famous dilla burger this season adding black bean veggie option, variety of street taco plates and grilled burritos, and beverage options for adults and kids. Come dine with the family where you’ll find some of the best views of the mountain!

Legacy Market - Winter Only

Closed for the season | Location: Legacy Lodge Upper Level

Located on the upper level of the Legacy Lodge, the Legacy market is offering some delicious and hearty offerings to re-charge you. New this year will be paninis such as chicken pesto, smoked pork & apple butter, and French Onion, to name a few. Fan favorites Whiteface Chili, Mac & Cheese, burgers, and chicken tenders & fries will always be available. It is a great place to stop in for a break and admire the breathtaking views.

Polish Korner - Winter Only

Closed for the season | Location: Legacy Lodge Lower Level 

Located downstairs at Legacy Lodge. The Polish Korner will feature house made pierogis, fresh kielbasa, and more hearty European fare to fuel you for your day on the mountain. Stop in and visit Chef Kristof and his team and try not to eat too much!
