Whiteface is proud to be a partner of the New York Ski Educational Foundation (NYSEF). NYSEF students train and compete at Whiteface to reach their potential in Alpine and Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding.

NYSEF includes 7 disciplines, 5 training venues, a Winter Term Junior Development Program and almost 600 athletes, some of whom have competed in Winter Olympic Games. Training and competition venues include: Belleayre Mountain, Gore Mountain, Whiteface Mountain, the Olympic Sports Complex at Mt. Van Hoevenberg and the Olympic Jumping Complex.

The race event coordinators for each competition varies from event to event and include the Olympic Authority, New York Ski Education Foundation (NYSEF), New York State Ski Racing Association (NYSSRA), United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard (USCSA), U.S. Ski & Snowboard (USSS), and International Freeskiers Association (IFSA). Together in partnership, the Olympic Authority is providing competitive sport development and opportunities for athletes.
