Overview
Whiteface Mountain is excited to continue our inaugural IFSA Freeride Ski and Snowboard Series. The Empire Freeride Series at Whiteface will feature both a Qualifier and a Junior event—highlighted by an exciting change to the venue. For the first time ever, competitors will take on The Slides (conditions permitting), a well-known rite of passage for skiers across the nation.. After welcoming nearly 100 participants in our first event last year, we’re thrilled to host even more riders this season.
**All participants must be equipped with an avalanche transceiver (beacon), shovel, and probe.**
*Slides will not be open to the public during the event*
