Andrew Weibrecht was a Whiteface Sponsored Athlete and member of the US Ski Team. His most notable accomplishments include winning a bronze medal for Super G in 2010 at the Vancouver Olympics and winning the Super G silver medal in 2014 in Sochi.

Andrew Weibrecht was a member of the US Ski Team. His most notable accomplishments include winning a bronze medal for Super G in 2010 at the Vancouver Olympics and winning the Super G silver medal in 2014 in Sochi.

Andrew was born on February 10, 1986 and grew up in Lake Placid, New York. He is one of five siblings and was inspired by his older brother, Jonathan, to start skiing when he was five years old. In his younger years, he raced with the New York Ski Education Foundation at Whiteface Mountain and went on to attend Dartmouth College. Weibrecht is a three-time Olympian and lifelong skier of Whiteface. During the 2021/22 winter season, the new quad out of the Base Area that services the arena was named “Warhorse” after Weibrecht’s nickname because of his reputation for skillfully attacking the mountain when he races.
